Classes
The Improv Garage offers three sessions per year, Winter, Spring and Fall. We offer two classes per session - Intro to Improv and Advanced Improv. Students must complete two Intro to Improv sessions and be at least 12 years old in order to qualify for Advanced Improv.

We’ve updated our class structure! Now you just sign up for the class that fits your student’s grade! Everyone will still get all the same great improv instruction from short form games to long form scenes and more!
Our Payment Options
You have three options to pay for the Fall Session:
For Fall Session:
Sign-up before August 9th - $200
Sign-up August 10 - 23 - $250
After August 23 OR pay class by class - $25 per class
Adult Classes - $20 per class
Drop In
Grades 5-8
If you’re in fifth through eighth grade and you have zero experience but are interested in learning improv this is for you! If you have improv experience already, this is also for you! In the Drop In we’ll start with the basics and then introduce advanced topics as the class progresses.
Drop In students will perform at Infinite Draft on November 13, 2026.
Class Dates: August 9 - November 8, 2026 (No class: 9/6, 9/20)

High School Drop-In
Grades 9-12
If you’re in high school and you’re interested in learning improv this is for you! If you have improv experience already, this is also for you! In the High School Drop-In we’ll start with the basics and then introduce advanced topics as the class progresses.

Prerequisites: At least two full sessions of Drop In or HS Drop In, ages 12+
Team Improv
Students who have completed at least two full sessions are eligible to be selected to join/form a TIG House Team. High School age students can audition to be placed on a TIG House Team.
House Team members will perform at The Club House and at Infinite Draft.

Ages 18+
Adult Improv
Improv for adults! No experience required!
Learn to think on your feet and build your confidence with public speaking! We’ll use improv warm-up and games to help you find your confidence and have fun. By the end of the class, you’ll learn to perform our signature form, The Jump Start!
